Galina Fjodorowna Romanova was born
in 1918 near Dnepropetrovsk in the
Soviet Union. She was the daughter of a
blacksmith and studied medicine when
the German troops occupied her City.
On July 1, 1942 she is deported to
Germany in order to work as a physician
in camps for forced labor. Ganila joined
a resistance group but was arrested in
October 1943. On November 3, 1944
she was guillotined in Plötzensee, Berlin.
