Ursula Goetze had been
a communist ever since
her early youth. She
joined the german
resistance group - and
soviet spy ring - "Rote
Kapelle". When the
German authorities
stroke against the
group, she had little
chance to escape the
guillotine. During her
trial Ursula tried to take
as much of the blame
as posible. The young
woman gave up all her
hope of survival trying
to save some of her
friends!
In the evening of
August 5, 1943 at 7.12
p.m. Ursula went to the
guillotine inside the
prison of Plötzensee,
Berlin. She was then 27
years old.
