Lili Böhm was a member of a Jewish youth organisation called Hashomer Hatzair (the Young Guard) in
Újvidék (Novi Sad), Yugoslavia.
During WW2 when her part of the country was invaded by Hungarian military she took part in the
organization of activities against Hungarian occupation and in sabotage groups in Újvidék (Novi Sad).
On 20.9.1941 Lili was caught by the Hungarian gendarmerie while carrying a weapon. She was judged
in a military court and sentenced to death.
On 25.11.1941 Lili Böhm was publicly hanged by Hungarian soldiers in Újvidék.
